Why convert WEBP to JFIF?

WebP is great for websites, but some older apps, editors and upload forms still do not accept it. Some systems explicitly expect the .jfif extension; the content is a standard JPEG image.

What changes when you convert WEBP to JFIF

JFIF files are usually larger than WEBP files, because JFIF stores the image with less (or no) lossy compression.
JFIF uses lossy compression. At the default quality (85) the difference is invisible for most images; raise it for maximum fidelity or lower it for smaller files.
JFIF does not support transparency. Transparent areas in your WEBP image are filled with a background colour (white by default, adjustable in Settings).
If your WEBP is animated, only the first frame is converted to JFIF.
JFIF images can be at most 65,535 pixels wide or high; larger images are scaled down automatically.

Will I lose quality converting WEBP to JFIF?
